Cascadia Bengals – FAQs
How much can I expect my new Bengal kitten to cost?
- $2000 for a pet kitten
- $3000-4000 for a breeder/show quality kitten
We sometimes offer retired breeder adults for $500 so please check our available page or inquire when we plan to have one available. Our retired adults usually are between 4-6 years of age.
Note: If purchasing 2 kittens together, we offer a two kitten discount of $200 off of each kitten. Oftentimes, Bengal kittens adjust much better when sold in pairs and would like to encourage this by offering a discount. Additionally, if you have purchased a kitten previously from us at full price, we would offer the second kitten inquiry at $200 off.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required to hold a kitten that you have picked out. This deposit amount will be applied to the purchase price.
When can my new pet kitten go to its new home?
We wait until 12 weeks of age before sending a kitten to its new home. This ensures that the kitten will be confident and well adjusted before being introduced to their new environment away from their mom and siblings.
What will my new pet kitten come with?
First and second set of FVRCP shots, 2 dewormings, spayed/neutered, 1 year health guarantee against any congential health defects. Each kitten will also go home with their TICA registration (Breeders slip). This will ensure to the buyer that the kitten they are buying is a purebred Bengal.
What kind of health screening does your cattery do?
We start screening our breeding cats at one year of age for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). We also do genetic screening for PRA and PK-deficiency.
Are Bengal Cats hypo-allergenic?
Bengals are sometimes considered less allergenic but usually most people that are allergic to cats will still find that they have a hard time with allergies living with a Bengal.
